Larry “Mack” McAfee is an experienced saltwater angler. He has fished the Texas Gulf Coast for over 30 years plus in Louisiana, Maryland, North Carolina and Florida.  Mack picked up kayak fishing in 2002 and has since participated in numerous regional and national tournaments. He won First Place at the inaugural Specktacular Kayak Fishing Tournament held in Galveston in April, 2006. His arsenal includes both conventional tackle and fly rod. He is a member and supporter of Texas Fly Fishers, PACK, and the Coastal Conservation Association. In addition to saltwater fishing, Mack is an avid freshwater trout fly fisherman spending part of each year on streams in Wyoming, Colorado, Texas, New Mexico and Alaska. His fly fishing articles have been appeared in several regional publications.
