Doug grew up fishing the Galveston Bay complex. He caught his first limits of trout and redfish wading the waters off the peninsula at the
young age of 12. He began kayak fishing in 2002. He is one of two Karankawans that fish from a sit-in-kayak. Doug is an extremely knowledgeable saltwater and freshwater angler. He’ll never miss the spring white bass and crappie runs. He’s a bayou boy through and through and he has the guitar to prove it.
